
Tamela Aldridge
Tamela is thrilled to be a part of the Only Make Believe crew! She also works as a Teaching Artist with The New Victory Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Ars Nova Theater, WNYC-FM Radio and The American Place Theater. As an actor, Tamela has performed at Off-Broadway theaters as well as various Regional theaters across the country. She has performed in independent films as well as TV programs such as Law & Order: SVU.
Anthony Bannister
Anthony has performed in shelters, adolescent correctional facilities, Off and Off-Off Broadway houses. Past roles are Jacques Roux in Castillo Theatre's production of Marat Sade and the title role of Othello in William Shakespeare's Othello at Studio 4A. He has also danced with companies that perform in schools throughout the Tri-State area, as well as, performing in Symphony Space, Joyce Soho and Jacobs Pillow. Additionally, Anthony has directed plays for National Theater for Arts & Education that toured middle schools throughout the United States.
Andrew Dolan
Andrew Dolan is a graduate of the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) and Bowdoin College. He has performed on Broadway, at Lincoln Center, the Vineyard, the New York Summer Play Festival, New York Stage & Film and in countless off and off-off Broadway productions. Regional credits include 5 seasons with ACT, Encore Theater (Artistic Director 3 seasons), Arizona Theater Company, Magic Theater, and Spoleto Arts Festival. In the UK he has worked at the National Theater and English Touring Theater.
Dan Domingues
Dan is primarily a theater actor. He’s worked Off and Off-Off Broadway,as well as, regionally from Portland, Maine to Salt Lake City, Utah. Dan also performs other outreach work that includes programs with Urban Stages, Playwrights Theater of NJ, BardAvon, and George Street Playhouse. He’s made appearances on the TV shows Hope and Faith, Third Watch, and As The World Turns. Dan has an MFA from the ART/IATT program at Harvard and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NY.
Steve Elm
Steve Elm trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London. Among his stage credits are Siblings , Fourplay (London); In the Spirit , White (New York). Television: Capital City , Absolute Hell (with Judy Dench). Film: Memphis Belle, Project Shadowchaser . His one-man show Stagestuck has been seen in NYC & Miami. He has directed plays at Manchester University, American Indian Youth Theater Project and Chuka Lokoli Native Theater Ensemble. He is an actor with Creative Arts Team and a Master Artist with the Wolf Trap Foundation.
Mark Emerson
Mark Emerson is extremely proud to be part of Only Make Believe. He is a recent graduate of the M.F.A. Acting program at UCSD, where he performed in The Wiz and Zhivago at La Jolla Playhouse (both directed by Des McAnuff). He was last seen as Prior in Angels in America at the Lyric Hammersmith in London and as Tim Allgood in Noises Off at the Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and an artistic associate of About Face Theatre in Chicago.
Christian Felix
Originally from Chicago, Christian is happy to be working with the talented folks at Only Make Believe. Recent theater credits include: Take Me Out (Barebones, PIttsburgh), Romeo and Juliet, (Shakespeare in the Park), Edward II, Three Sisters (2060, Inc., NYC) and Snake in Fridge (Themantics Group, NYC). Past Theatre credits include: Titus Andronicus (Defiant, Chicago), Women and Water (Eclipse, Chicago), and Our Country's Good (Strawdog, Chicago). TV credits: The Bedford Diaries (WB) and What About Joan (ABC). Christian would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.
Vivia Font
Vivia is thrilled return to OMB after receiving her MFA in Acting at the Old Globe/USD. Credits include Six Degrees of Separation, All’s Well that Ends Well (Old Globe), The Collected Stories of Billy the Kid (Columbia Stages), La Tempestad (Ohio Theater), and coming up, Mariela in the Desert (Denver Center). She has also appeared on television and film nationally. Vivia has worked as a teaching artist at the Globe, CAT, Opening Act, George Street Playhouse, and McCarter Theater. Mark Friedlander
Mark is blessed to be a part of Only Make Believe. He received his B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern Maine and spent four seasons touring the U.S. with National Theater for Arts and Education. He has performed off-off Broadway and regionally, including Portland Stage Company and three seasons with Connecticut Free Shakespeare. He also works with Finding Words/Child First and the DOJ training professionals to interview and protect children from abuse.
Sheri Graubert
Sheri is an actress and playwright. As an actress she has worked with: Cheek by Jowl; Royal National Theater; English Shakespeare Company; York Theater Royal; Theater Royal, Stratford East; Chichester Festival Theater; Target Margin; Clubbed Thumb, amongst many others. She has also acted in TV, film, and voice-overs. She recently recorded a Hooked on English series for children learning to read. As a playwright, Sheri has been produced or had readings in New York, Chicago, London and Alaska.
Jacqueline Gregg
A graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, Jacqueline has performed with theater companies around New York, including Target Margin Theater, The Queen's Company, and Westside Repertory Theater. Favorite roles include Mariana in Measure for Measure , Phoebe in As You Like It, Maria in Twelfth Night , Ferdinand in The Duchess of Malfi, and a hip-hopping, soul-singing Gerti-D in The Trage-D of The Fresh Prince Hammy-T . Jacqueline also works extensively with various educational theater organizations around New York City.
Ashley Denise Robinson
Ashley moved to New York City after completing an acting apprenticeship at Actors Theater of Louisville (07-08). There, she performed in This Beautiful City with The Civilians and Game On, both in the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Past performances include Hansel and Gretel Eat Crabs (Active Cultures Theatre), Macbeth (Washington Shakespeare Co.), and Nutshell (Capital Fringe Festival 07). She holds a BA in Theater from The University of Maryland at College Park.
David Shih

Film/TV: Saving Face (Sony Picture Classics), All My Children (ABC), Interpol Investigates (National Geographic Channel). Dave directed The Cranberries: Doors and Windows cd-rom for The Cranberries and can be heard in the video games Grand Theft Auto: San Andrea and The Warriors (Rockstar Games). He sings in The Collegiate Chorale at Carnegie Hall.
Stephanie Skaff
Stephanie Skaff is a performance artist and writer. She is currently developing a public art project, Make Me One With Everything, based on street vendors in NYC. She is a member of the orchestral rock band, Frances. She has produced works at The Old American Can Factory and The Culture Project, and has received awards from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Puffin Foundation, Ltd and Princess Grace Foundation-USA. She received a BFA in Dramatic Performance from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
Kate Turnbull
Kate hails from Lawrence, KS and now makes her home in Brooklyn, NY. Her regional theatre credits include shows at Centerstage, Portland Stage Company, and The Old Globe. New York credits include shows at New York Theatre Workshop, The Culture Project, and the 78th Street Theatre Lab. Kate is a teaching artist and company member of Epic Theatre Ensemble as well as a teaching artist for Theatre Development Fund. She received her MFA from The Old Globe/University of San Diego and is thrilled to be a part of Only Make Believe.
Dax Valdes
Dax Valdes is glad to be working with OMB. Performing credits with: Prospect Theater Company, HERE Arts Center, Millbrook Playhouse, Synapse Productions, McCarter Theater, Vital Children's Theatre, NYMF, New York Fringe Festival, Gallery Players, Pittsburgh Playhouse, PCPA Theaterfest, Hope Summer Repertory, Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As choreographer, shows include: Altar Boyz (also dir.), Bye Bye Birdie, Honor, Pinkalicious, and The Full Monty. He has also worked extensively with the NY Kids Project and is currently a teaching artists for the Vineyard Theater and Brooklyn Theater Arts High School, in Canarsie. Education: BFA Musical Theater, Point Park College; Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
Channie Waites
Channie Waites (AEA) is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Theater and minors in dance and anthropology. Her acting credits include Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Connecticut Free Shakespeare, D’UNDERBELLY’S workshop production of Childr’n of O in the role of “O” and several productions with the Classical Theater of Harlem and The NY Fringe Festival. She directed the touring production of The Rosa Parks Story for National Theater of Arts and Education and assisted directed their production of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. Channie also performs and teaches with the Phyllis Rose Dance Company and is a member of the Essence of Joy Alumni Singers.
