Amy FIORE
Executive Director
Amy Fiore joins the OMB staff after nine years as Managing Director for TADA! Youth Theater and marketing positions at Vineyard Theatre, The Public Theater and MCC Theater. Amy is an adjunct professor and guest lecturer on arts administration at NYU, Baruch College and with the Arts & Business Council of New York, among others. She is the founder and director of Play Theater in Union County NJ and resides in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband and 2 daughters.
Jaime Quiles
Operations Director
Jaime joined Only Make Believe in June 2010. Prior to that Jaime worked for many years with Bear Stearns and was also busy writing and producing his first two music albums under “The Faceless Project”. He graduated with a music degree from Center for the Media Arts.
JACKIE MILLER
Artistic Director
With over twelve years of experience as a director and curator of arts programming across New York City’s cultural sector, Jackie joined Only Make Believe in 2012. She holds a B.F.A. in performance and M.A. in Arts-Politics both from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Cary Simpson
Development Manager
Born and raised in North Carolina, Cary obtained a B.A. in English and Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before heading north to work on Martha’s Vineyard and subsequently NYC. She has held various positions at New York arts organizations including Theatre Development Fund, New York Theatre Workshop, and Theatrical Rights Worldwide. In addition to her work with OMB, Cary is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Theater Management and Producing at Columbia University’s School of the Arts.
Patrice Christu
Production Manager
Prior to OMB, Patrice worked in Operations at the Baryshnikov Arts Center. She has over 10 years of experience working in theatrical production in NYC, primarily with young people. Patrice holds a BA in Theater Arts, with a minor in Creative Writing, from Marymount Manhattan College.
CHANNIE WAITES
Program Consultant
Channie joined the OMB staff as Program Consultant in 2009. She currently oversees OMB’s Buddy program and a variety of Individual Volunteer initiatives. Channie is a performing artist, educator and director. She has performed, taught and directed professionally within the United States and abroad. Channie has received several honors and acknowledgements for her audiobook narrations including Zora and Me and Claudette Colvin Twice Towards Justice. Channie has a M.A. in Applied Theatre from the School of Professional Studies-CUNY.
