Sarah Rosand joined Only Make Believe as a volunteer in 2004, and joined the NYC Board of Directors in 2009. Upon relocating to Washington, DC in 2010, Sarah spearheaded the expansion of Only Make Believe in the DC metro area. She has a diverse marketing & business background in private and non-profit sectors, and received her B.A. in Psychology and Art History from Cornell University. Sarah resides in Washington, DC with her husband and 3 sons.
Johanna Friedlander has been an ardent supporter of Only Make Believe in Washington, DC since 2013. A former Managing Director at Accenture, Johanna is a graduate of University of Florida. After 20 years in the Business/Financial Services sector, she welcomes opportunity to further contribute to OMB as a member of the DC Regional Board to help the organization further grow in Metro DC. Johanna lives in Virginia with her family.
Jim Barratt is a Managing Director at Ankura focused on investigations and accounting advisory based in Washington, DC. An experienced forensic accountant, he manages compliance and investigative work connected to corporate fraud, anti-bribery and corruption remediation, and United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proceedings. Jim has been an ardent supporter of Only Make Believe since 2013 and is inspired by OMB's impact in the Washington, DC metro area. He has resided in DC since 1991 and is the proud father of 3 teenagers!
Lisa Kanter is a former Attorney at the U.S. Department of Education. Introduced to OMB by Sarah Rosand, she has been a committed supporter since 2012. She is thrilled that OMB is thriving in DC and continues to be dedicated to its mission. Lisa lives in Bethesda, MD with her family.
Janine Cornecelli is Managing Director, Marketing & Communications for Global Health and Public Service at Accenture. She received her undergraduate degree from Marywood College and graduate degrees from University of Maryland and Marymount University. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and the National Speakers Association. Janine believes the arts have the power to inspire, humanize, and heal; therefore, she is proud to serve as a Regional Board Member for Only Make Believe. She lives with her husband and son in Virginia.
Sabina Menschel is President and Chief Operating Officer of Nardello & Co., a global intelligence and investigations firm. Sabina has over 20 years’ experience leading domestic and international due diligence, litigation support, fraud and global asset recovery investigations on behalf of financial institutions, law firms and multinationals. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. Sabina is happy to share her experience leading and growing organizations in both the non profit and corporate sectors as Only Make Believe expands its DC presence. She lives in Washington, DC with her family.
Dr. Yael Granader (Program Consultant)
Dr. Yael Granader is a pediatric neuropsychologist and licensed psychologist in Maryland and Washington D.C. She specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, medical, learning, or social-emotional issues. She currently works at The Stixrud Group, A Lifespan Neuropsychology Practice. Prior to joining The Stixrud Group in 2017, Dr. Granader spent three years as a pediatric neuropsychologist at Children’s National Health System and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the George Washington University Medical Center. At Children’s National Health System Dr. Granader completed individual and multidisciplinary team-based neuropsychological evaluations with youth with medical or developmental concerns, social skills weaknesses, difficulties with attention or inhibitory control, learning disabilities, and/or communication difficulties through the general neuropsychology program, the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, and the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program.
Dr. Granader completed her graduate training at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She knew that she wanted to focus her studies on pediatric neuropsychology from the start of her graduate training and was fortunate to have exceptional training experiences including the NYU Child Study Center, NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine: Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She then went on to complete her predoctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. In addition to her clinical training she also has experience with clinical research with publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Her research has focused on executive functioning in youth with autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy and more recently she helped to assess a sexual education curriculum for youth with autism spectrum disorders.
