CLINT RAMOS

Clint Ramos is an award-winning creative director, designer, and producer.

Most recently, he produced Theater Group Asia’s sold-out production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, starring Lea Salonga, Arielle Jacobs and featuring a cast of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans.

He currently serves as Visual Director for Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City, where he reimagines and transforms the entire campus each summer. Ramos is also the current Artist-in-Residence at Lincoln Center, and the Producing Creative Director for Encores! at New York City Center.

On Broadway, Ramos was a lead producer of Here Lies Love. As a designer, he has crafted over 200 productions across theater, opera, and dance. His recent work includes his Tony-nominated design for Maybe Happy Ending, as well as acclaimed productions such as KPOP, Slave Play, The Rose Tattoo, Eclipsed, Once On This Island, and Torch Song. His film credits include production design for Lingua Franca (Netflix) and costume design for RESPECT (MGM).

Ramos’s accolades include a Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Play and seven additional Tony nominations. He is also the recipient of two Obie Awards, a Drama Desk Award, three Lucille Lortel Awards, two Henry Hewes Design Awards from the American Theatre Wing, a Helen Hayes Award, a USA Fellowship, and the Ani ng Dangal Presidential Medal for the Arts from the Philippines.

He sits on the Advisory Board of the American Theatre Wing and is the co-founder of Design Action and Springboard to Design. A lifelong advocate for equity in theater and film, Ramos champions the inclusion of people of color and immigrant communities. He was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines.
